Once you are settled in the role you will be walking through the department accounts with department heads. You will be able to highlight key movement and drill in to explain the movements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups
  • Work with the Product Owner to ensure the backlog is prioritised
  • Ensure the Product Owner and team lead is advised of the teams velocity
  • Coach team members in Agile principles and values
  • Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration across scrum teams
  • Enable to the team to achieve their sprint goals by protecting from outside interference
  • Resolve conflicts and remove impediments that occur
  • Help teams implement changes effectively
  • Guide development teams to better Agile Practices
  • Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it
  • Enable to team(s) to regularly inspect and adapt their processes to discover better ways of creating software
  • Tracking team performance on a sprint by sprint basis and reporting back to the Agile Coach
  • Monitoring Defects

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in a scrum master role – minimum 2yrs
  • Familiarity with software development
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement etc)
  • Ideally (but not essential) a Scrum Master certification from a recognised body
