AI Engineer

South Wales - Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)

Up to £50,000 + Annual Bonus

CPS Group are supporting a leading financial services organisation in South Wales as they expand their AI & Automation capability. They’re looking to hire an AI Engineer to design and deliver intelligent automation solutions that drive real operational and commercial impact.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll work with modern AI tooling across Microsoft’s ecosystem, building production-ready solutions that improve processes, enhance decision-making, and unlock business efficiency.

The Role:

• Developing AI-powered solutions using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, AI Builder)
• Designing intelligent automation workflows for enterprise-scale use
• Working with APIs and Azure AI services where required
• Collaborating closely with business stakeholders to identify AI opportunities
• Taking solutions from concept through to live deployment

Skills/ Experience:

• Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform (essential)
• Practical experience delivering AI or automation solutions
• Understanding of applied AI, LLMs, or intelligent process automation
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Nice to have: Azure AI, Python, Dataverse, regulated industry experience
