Procurement Analyst

Salary: £28k-£33k

Location: Bridgend, Wales (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

CPS Group are looking for a Procurement Analyst to join a growing procurement function within a global organisation. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment supporting procurement operations, supplier management, and sourcing activity across a broad range of business services, including enterprise-wide IT agreements.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is highly organised, analytical, and looking to build a long-term career within procurement. The team is open to candidates who may have worked in an Accounts Payable or administrative support role previously and are looking to take the next step into procurement. Attitude and initiative are key — they are looking for a proactive individual who is eager to learn, take ownership, and develop within the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and analyse procurement spend data, producing regular reports and insights to support business decision-making
  • Support internal recharge and cost allocation processes across business units
  • Coordinate sourcing activities and assist with stakeholder engagement
  • Support the preparation of RFx documentation, supplier evaluations, and contract summaries
  • Maintain accurate supplier and contract records, including renewal tracking and reporting
  • Coordinate procurement and stakeholder meetings, reviews, and internal communications
  • Support supplier onboarding activities, including due diligence and system administration
  • Provide general administrative support to the wider procurement team
  • Assist with supplier performance reviews and procurement reporting
  • Opportunity to gain exposure to wider sourcing and category management activities

About You

  • Previous experience in an administration, procurement, or business support role
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work across multiple teams
  • Proactive and willing to learn within a procurement environment
  • Interest in procurement or working towards a CIPS qualification would be advantageous
