Bid Manager
Bristol – flex on remote working
Salary: £30-40K + benefits
Faulkner Scott, a CPS Group Company, are working with a successful and fast-growing SaaS organisation based in Central Bristol who have an excellent opportunity for a Bid Manager to join the business.
The Bid Manager will play a crucial role in the next phase of growth and success by helping secure new business.
You will manage the end-to-end bid process, writing and managing tenders, Pre-Qualification Questionnaires, RFIs and proposals.
Being able to understand technical jargon and get to grips with software applications will be an advantage in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full bid process from receipt of documentation through to bid submission
- Transforming technical and operational information in to meaningful proposal documentation.
- Managing the full process for a range of Bids - Invitations to Tender, Pre-Qualification Questionnaires, Requests for Information / Proposals
- Creation of sales proposal content and proof reading / adjusting content when necessary
- Document management and version control for tender related documentation
Skills / experience:
- Previous experience within similar Bid / Tender writing would be a benefit but not essential
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong written communication skills
- Highly organised and able to work towards strict deadlines
- IT Literate – able to understand software products or experience within a similar SaaS business preferred
- Strong MS Office – Word / Excel or similar (Google Docs, etc)
- Any experience with Screen Capturing Software a benefit – Gliffy / Visio etc
