Junior/Mid Application Support Engineer

£30k-£60k depending on experience + benefits

Reading - Hybrid 1 day a week onsite 

CPS Group are working with a Reading based FinTech that is looking to expand their team. They are currently seeking a Junior to Mid-level Application Support Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert-level support for the insurance platform, resolving issues and ensuring high availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement system improvements.
• Analyse feedback from users, customers, and colleagues to proactively address pain points and optimize processes.
• Support the development and deployment of new features and updates to the platform.

Requirements:

• Previous experience within a similar App Support role, or recent degree within Computer Science (or equivalent) 
• Any experience / exposure with the following technologies is not preferred but not essential; Java, Docker, Spring Framework, AWS, Linux, JUnit, Git, Jira, and Confluence would be beneficial.
• A proactive attitude, a willingness to learn, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Happy to commute to office once per week
