Job Description

Project Support Administrator

Location: Swansea/Hybrid
Salary: Up to £28,000

CPS Group are currently recruiting for a Project Support Administrator to join a busy and growing programmes team based in Swansea.

This is a varied administrative role supporting the coordination and delivery of multiple projects. Working closely with programme leads, you will play an important part in keeping projects organised, ensuring tasks are completed on time and providing effective support across a range of activities.

The role will suit someone who is highly organised, proactive and enjoys working in a varied, fast-paced environment where no two days are necessarily the same.

The Role

As Project Support Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to programme leads across multiple projects.
  • Supporting the coordination and delivery of projects, ensuring key tasks and deadlines are met.
  • Managing multiple shared email inboxes, responding to enquiries promptly and escalating queries where appropriate.
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation, records and information across relevant systems.
  • Supporting the preparation of project progress reports and analysing programme data.
  • Liaising with internal departments, external organisations and third-party suppliers.
  • Providing administrative and on-site support at events when required.
  • Logging, monitoring and maintaining records of incoming queries.
  • Attending meetings and supporting the identification of potential project issues or improvements.
  • Escalating any risks or issues that could impact project delivery.

About You

We are looking for someone with a strong administrative background, excellent organisational skills and a customer-focused approach.

You will ideally have:

  • A minimum of three A-Level passes at Grade C or equivalent.
  • Experience managing multiple tasks or activities simultaneously.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • The ability to work independently, use your initiative and contribute effectively within a team.
  • Good problem-solving, research and time management skills.
  • A proactive approach, with the confidence to question existing processes and suggest improvements.
  • The ability to remain organised and work effectively under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to providing excellent customer service.
