Job Title: PMO Specialist

Contract Length: 6 Months

Location: South Wales - Hybrid / Onsite as required

Employment Type: Full-time Contract

Role Purpose & Summary

We are looking for a detailed, hands-on PMO Specialist for a 6-month contract to support the smooth execution and governance of a multi-workstream initiative. Working within a traditional PMO structure, you will focus on core governance deliverables: status reporting, RAID maintenance, and project control mechanisms.

This role requires a flexible, adaptable individual who thrives in a varied project environment, enjoys working closely with different workstream leads, and maintains high standards of PMO discipline throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Status & Progress Reporting: Collate, analyze, and format regular status reports and performance metrics across various workstreams for escalation to leadership.

  • RAID Log Maintenance: Continuously update, track, and monitor Risk, Assumption, Issue, and Dependency logs, working with workstream owners to drive actions to resolution.

  • Governance & Controls: Support the application of standard PMO controls, quality assurance checks, and documentation standards across all project streams.

  • Workstream Coordination: Act as a central point of contact for project managers and workstream leads, assisting with planning, milestone tracking, and change control.

  • Operational Flexibility: Provide agile support across various workstreams as priorities evolve, assisting with administrative and operational PMO tasks as needed.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Solid background as a PMO Analyst or PMO Specialist within a structured PMO environment.

  • Hands-on experience managing and maintaining project controls, specifically RAID logs, action trackers, and change requests.

  • Experience consolidating data from multiple workstreams into concise, accurate progress reports.

  • High degree of flexibility and a willing, adaptable approach to handling changing priorities.

  • Strong organizational skills with sharp attention to detail.

  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
