My client is looking for an experienced Management Accountant to support them with the transformation to a "lean manufacturing" production line.
You will be responsible for improving financial performance and play a pivotal role in implementing operational planning processes with a view to improving service levels and reducing excess inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Support senior management by analysing data and providing regular reports on financial performance
- Develop financial models and forecasts
- Monitor production line profitability and measure the impact of price and cost changes whilst identifying cost saving opportunities
- Implement strategies to optimise inventory levels and improve service
- Identify ways of improving processes and making the manufacturing line more efficient
- Support the business with its transition to lean manufacturing by developing process improvement plans and KPI's
About You:
- 5 years Management Accountant experience
- ACCA/ACMA/CIMA qualified or close to completing qualification
- Advanced Excel knowledge with experience using Power BI
- Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment
